Will Coleman
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Will Coleman leads Urban Gate Capital's operations and investor relations, helping guide the company's lending platform, investor communication, and overall business strategy. He brings 10 years of real estate investing experience across Texas and Tennessee, with a background that spans private lending, acquisitions, finance, and capital relationships.
Before co-founding Urban Gate Capital, Will worked as a credit analyst at City Bank and later served as Director of Finance at Rand Capital, a commercial mortgage brokerage. That foundation in credit, underwriting, and structured finance shapes his approach to building disciplined lending operations and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers, investors, and partners.
Brandon Thornberry
Founder — Chief Credit Officer
Brandon Thornberry is the founder of UrbanGate Properties, where he focuses on identifying emerging markets and investing in the path of progress. He brings more than 20 years of experience acquiring, renovating, and managing single-family, multifamily, and commercial properties throughout Middle Tennessee.
As Chief Credit Officer of Urban Gate Capital, Brandon is responsible for lending approval decisions and helps guide the company's credit standards, underwriting discipline, and overall risk management. His real estate operating background gives him a practical perspective on collateral, borrower execution, and the fundamentals that support strong lending decisions.
Logan Rankin
Principal — Adviser
Logan Rankin provides strategic guidance to Urban Gate Capital across business strategy, hiring, operations, and scaling. His work supports the company's growth by helping leadership think through organizational structure, operating systems, team development, and long-term execution.
Logan has built two multimillion-dollar businesses and owns more than 4,000 real estate units valued at over $300 million. Before building and scaling his own companies, he spent the first decade of his career with a Fortune 50 corporation leading retail operations, giving him a deep foundation in management, process, and operational discipline.
Garrett Howe
Loan Officer
Garrett Howe works with Urban Gate Capital's borrowers throughout the lending process, helping evaluate new opportunities, review deal fundamentals, and move loans from initial conversation toward closing. His role includes supporting origination and underwriting while maintaining clear communication with borrowers as each file progresses.
Garrett brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to real estate lending, with a focus on understanding the property, borrower plan, collateral position, and timeline behind each request. He helps ensure that deals are reviewed thoroughly, communicated clearly, and advanced efficiently through Urban Gate's lending process.
Jonathan Booker
Loan Officer
Jonathan has closed more than $50 million in loan volume during his three years with Urban Gate Capital. He is involved in every stage of the lending process, from originating and underwriting new opportunities to maintaining direct communication with borrowers through closing and loan servicing.
With experience underwriting more than 100 loans across commercial, residential, multifamily, and land transactions, Jonathan brings a practical, deal-focused approach to each borrower relationship. His role is centered on clear communication, disciplined underwriting, and helping real estate investors move efficiently from initial submission to funded loan.
Silver Paredes
Account Manager
Silver manages Urban Gate Capital's lending pipeline, helping each loan move efficiently from initial documentation through closing. She coordinates with borrowers, internal team members, and closing partners to keep files organized, timelines clear, and the lending process moving forward.
Silver also leads loan documentation preparation and post-closing administration, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and ongoing portfolio management after funding. Her role is central to keeping Urban Gate's lending operations organized, responsive, and ready to support both borrowers and the broader portfolio.
